Privacy Policy

This describes what jaidinscorner.com and its apps (HugsFam, HugsCharts, and the
site itself) actually collect, why, and what you can do about it. Plain language, no filler.
What's collected
- Email address — for any account, purchase, or newsletter signup. This is the only
identity field required to create an account.
- Password — never stored in plain text. It's run through PBKDF2-SHA256 (a one-way
hash) before it ever touches a database; the real password is never recoverable by us, only resettable.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers and billing details never
reach our own servers or database at all.
- Birth name, birth date/time, and birth city — only if you use HugsCharts. The city is
sent once, at the moment you submit it, to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding
service (their privacy policy)
to resolve coordinates and a timezone — nothing is sent as you type, only on submit.
- HugsFam household data (routines, tasks, calendar, groceries) — stored privately per
household, never shared across households or accounts.
- Newsletter topic preferences — only if you explicitly check a consent box; buying
something or creating an account never automatically opts you into marketing email.
What's never collected
- No third-party advertising trackers, no ad pixels, no cross-site tracking cookies.
- Basic, privacy-respecting traffic analytics only (Cloudflare's own aggregate web analytics) — no
individual browsing profile is built or sold.
Who we share data with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email (receipts, password resets) and, separately and only
with your explicit consent, newsletter email.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim — one-time geocoding for Create Your Reality readings only.
- Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure for every part of this site.
Nobody else. Your data is never sold.
How long data is kept
As long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your identity and app data are removed
(see below) — records Stripe itself keeps for its own legal/tax obligations are outside our control.

You can request a copy of everything tied to your account, or request full deletion, at any time:
Children
Public account signup is not directed at children under 13. HugsFam's family features are used by
household members of any age, but only under a parent's own account and direct supervision — never
through public self-signup.
